Christine  Guay is the Public Information Coordinator for the City of Cornwall and a graduate of St. Lawrence College.  

She believes that her alma mater provides this community with a stronger more educated workforce. “It helps form our future leaders,” she explains.   

Christine was a very active and productive student having been elected Student Council President in her last year of College.  

She went to Ottawa for a while but returned to her home town when a career opportunity in her field of study presented itself.

In her position with the City, Christine assists the departments with all  their communication efforts to the Cornwall residents.  She assists in advertising, the maintenance of the City’s website, and helps disseminate information on new City Programs and Services.

Christine knows how St. Lawrence College makes a difference to local businesses.  Through its co-op and placement programs; the College creates a connection between our local Businesses and the future workforce, and helps the City attract businesses to our community.

Christine is an active Team Cornwall member and a St. Lawrence College Alumni member.
